Floor Care
Always use floor protectors or felt pads under all furniture legs that come in contact with your new hardwood floors.
- Spills or liquids on the floor surface should be wiped up immediately.
- Lightly vacuum your floor or clean with a dust mop . It is important to remove any grit from the floor prior to mopping with cleaner.
- We recommend purhasing a mop with a terry cloth covering that can be washed. These mops may be purchased from Home Depot or Lowes. We recommend the use of Bona Wood Floor Cleaner. You may purchase this from Southern Wood Flooring & Supply at (214)-360-0123. DO NOT CLEAN YOUR WOOD FLOOR WITH WATER OR OTHER CLEANING PRODUCTS. This will discolor the finish over time.
- Never use strong solvents as they may cause damage to the floors finish.
